Hi, my friend and I are going on the S. Italy tour mid September. We will have 2 extra days after the tour ends in Naples before we head back to the Rome airport. Any suggestions of where we may spend those days would be so appreciated. We don’t want to have to do too much traveling to get somewhere lovely, where we can spend 2 days and nights exploring and hanging out. Thanks 😊

You can stay right there in Naples, or stay in Sorrento which is about a one hour train ride away.

Return to Rome or go to Sorrento.
Another alternative would be to stay in the Rome suburbs like: OliveTreeHill.com They are the #1 rated agriturisimo in the area--and Zagarolo is about 20 miles south of Rome Termini. The B&B host is a fantastic tour guide, and there is as much to see in the 'burbs as there is to see within Rome.

I would go back to Rome. Always something more to see/do there, and have you where you need to be to fly home.
