Looking for Restaurants in Florence Italy

My husband and I are going to Italy in September 2019 for our 40th anniversary. We will be in Florence on our special day and would like some suggestions. My grandfather came over from Italy and this means so much to me. We are looking for a authentic Italian restaurant. Any suggestions?

RS mentions the Antica Trattoria da Tito north of the Accademia in his Italy guidebook and we loved it. The game dishes were divine... but, beware, the Matre'D kept bringing Limoncello - which is both divine and deadly.
Answer to the question you did not ask: The single most impressive art piece I saw in Florence was the Penitent Mary Magdalene in the Duomo Museum. Not pretty at all, but great.

We had lunch at a great place. Excellent food, good ambiance, fine wine. Name is Olio & Convivium Gastronomia Restaurant and is on the Pitti Palace side of the river on Via di Santo Spirito. The web site is http://www.oliorestaurant.it/video_eng.php. A bit pricey at lunch and probably more so at dinner. But the overall experience was worth it. For an anniversary dinner it will probably be a great place. I know we will definitely eat there again. Check it out and see if what you think
