Hi, I’m winding down a two month trip around Central Europe with a dog. I have one more night to book and I’m wondering if I could tap the expertise of this group for advice. I’ll be coming from Trento in Italy and have one unplanned night before I need to be in Milan. I’d like to find a nice town along the train route that would be accessible primarily on foot from the train station. I prefer outdoor beauty like mountains, lakes, or forest trails to tourist destinations. But cute towns with nice cafes or gelatos are also “a few of my favorite things”. The dog and I have had a really nice mix of experiences on the journey so far, between mountain hikes, beaches, medium size cities, and rural villages, so I don’t feel like anything is really missing from our experience, but after Milan, we will be in Paris, so I’d really like to give the dog a great day outdoors before all the hubbub of city life. Any recommendations? Thanks I’m advance!
