Looking for a great place to base for day trips?
We recently spent a week in Cortona, actually at the base of the hill upon which Cortona sits.
Claudio Toppani's Il Sole del Sodo was a super place from which we made day trips to Assisi. Lago Trasimento, Montelpulciano. and Firenze. And, of course we spent lots of time in Cortona. Discounts for stays of a week or longer.Reasonable rates. Free parking within 100 metres.
