Looking for budget room in Milan in October (single room)

I stayed at Hotel Berna (see Here, I booked through Venere, but you can book directly through the hotel). It's near the train station and metro stop. Clean rooms, free non-alcoholic beverages in mini bar, internet access, HUGE breakfast by Italy standards. Read reviews on TripAdvisor before booking. Neighborhood is considered "iffy" due to proximity to train station, but I did not feel uncomfortable at all (and actually found the middle aged "ladies" sort of amusing).
