Looking for beach resort recommendations

We're looking for recommendations for beach resorts anywhere in Italy (including Sicily), someplace where we could just settle in for a week or two without a rental car, with the following criteria…
- Fairly close proximity to an airport or train station, or no more than an hour away using a hired driver service.
- On or across from the beach, or with a quick shuttle service to the beach.
- Sandy beach and calm water.
- Beach chairs and umbrellas for guests, vs renting every day.
- Restaurant offering lunch and dinner either onsite or within a few minutes walk.
- Convenience store (or grocery store) either onsite or within a few minutes walk.
- Minimal kitchenette (microwave, small fridge).

Our favorite would be Ischia. About 1/2 hour from the airport to the ferry dock. Then a 50 minute ferry ride. Several villages and towns to choose from. Plenty of options for beaches and spas. Good transportation on the island.

Thanks. We actually just stayed on ischia in May, at the San Montano Resort & Spa, which checked off most of the boxes and got us looking for beach resorts in Italy.

We've seen beautiful beaches at places like Mondello and Cefalu in Sicily, and Monterosso in the Cinque Terra, but haven't found any beach resorts there that meet our criteria.

Check out Noli. We stopped there for the day a few years ago. Cute little town. Not too far from Genoa.

Perhaps Forte dei Marmi? Otherwise, I'd look in Puglia and Abruzzo. Certainly Sardinia.
At Booking.com, you can plug a lot of parameters into their accommodation search. Might be helpful!

We're staying on Ischia in early October at a resort on the beach in the Ponte area. Sounds like you had a good experience. Any advice? Why not go back? We will be first-timers.

The best sea and the best beaches would be in Sardinia, which does have 3 major airports (Olbia, Alghero in the north, and Cagliari in the south). Northern Sardinia has a high concentration of resorts. Look up for something there. If you are not willing to rent a car there are private car services and some resorts have shuttles.

Sicily and Puglia (Salento area) have many too, and they are served by airports. Sardinia Puglia and Sicily have the best beaches.

Try to do a search in Italian for the best resorts:
MIGLIORI VILLAGGi TURISTICI SUL MARE (SARDEGNA or SICILIA or PUGLIA or SALENTO)
you can also search for ALL INCLUSIVE RESORTS in the same locations
