Hi,
We are in Italy now and left 3 days unplanned. We'd like to stay between Firenze & Venezia in a village/walled town with charm. Current host suggested Certaldo, but I'd like to be farther north. Stay starts this Sat for 3 nights, 4 persons, B&B or Apartment preferred. 2 or more rooms OK, budget up to $350/night. Appreciate any suggestions. Grazie!

I'm a fan of Verona. I'm not sure where else you've been or how long you've been gone but Verona charmed me last time I was in Italy. Quite a few sites for a city of its size, nice public squares, pleasant cafes. It's probably bigger than a "village" though.
