Looking for Awesome Almafi Coast Tour Operators

I am looking for a tour company that would take us on a 2-3 day tour of Almafi coast highlights. We are doing Tuscany using Rick's book but would like to have someone take care of us for this region and end of our trip. Thanks

You could take a Mondo shared tours organized by Rick Steves. It is only one day but the Amalfi Coast is a very small area( vs Tuscany which is quite large, no comparison) and then you could easily explore on your own.
Or contact Mondo Tours in Naples to see what they can do for you in regard to private touring. mondoguide.it
There are many private drivers who offer day tours on the Amalfi Coast; they are quite expensive. You can find them on Trip Advisor.

We took the Mondo Tour of Amalfi that we read about in RS Italy - it is about a 9 hour trip on a small van (8 passenger) and only $50 for the entire day. It was a fantastic trip with a wonderful driver and so much better than the typical large tour buses that hold 40 passengers. It was hilarious but also annoying to watch those large buses try to negotiate the hairpin tours on the narrow road down the coast. Several times one would get stuck trying to go through a tunnel and that would hold up traffic on both sides for awhile. We stopped in 3 towns - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - and had about 2 hours in each one to wander around. We were staying in Sorrento so took the tour from there. While it would have been nice to actually stay in one or more of the towns along the Amalfi coast, this one day tour was more than adequate and you couldn't pay me enough to try to drive that coast on my own! It was an awesome, beautiful drive, something I had dreamed about for years. I imagine it is possible to have someone take you on a longer tour but that would be VERY pricey I think. The towns are lovely and quaint but not that different....it is the drive itself that is spectacular. Just do the one day tour!

Zia Lucy has excellent reviews. Francesco (Frank) Carpenga has mixed reviews. Highlights of Amalfi coast are traveling on the coast and canyon roads. Very crowded, demands patience. RS books suggest taxi drivers that will give you the ride of you lifetime. Coastal ferry/boat ride provides a no stairs view of the coast. Some take a water taxi between towns. Path of Gods hike, without a guide, there is a wait for the bus, with a guide, a taxi awaits. The guide points out sites, wild fennel, and rosemary. Wonderful seafood meals.
