My wife and I will be staying in the Parma area for 3 nights in the first part of April, 2025. We will have a rental car and we are looking for a good Agriturismo near Parma (within 30km or so) We would like for the Agriturismo to serve breakfast & dinner on the property if possible. Any suggestions?

Parma is on the plain next to the foothills of the Apennine. There is a choice of three types of locations: the pianura padana, the foothills, and the mountains (30km will get you to the edge mountains). Do you want a real working farm, or one that focuses in hospitality and has a few animals and a garden? What is your budget and what are your plans for those days? From, you can start to narrow down the choices. If it were my choice, I would stay south of Parma in the foothills relatively close to a strada statale and then close to an exit to the autostrada so you can get out for sightseeing easily.

Thank you for your reply. We are looking south of Parma towards the mountains. We are not necessarily looking for a working farm but a place more geared to tourists that includes breakfast and dinner. We do plan on exploring the area and sight seeing throughout the day and then returning to the sight in the evening. We are looking for suggestions on a reputable agriturismo in the area.
