Hello, We want to do a RS Tour that ends near Ortisei for day-hiking in the Dolomites. We plan to book a hotel in Ortisei for 4 - 5 days after the RS tour ends. Any suggestions are welcome.

Browsing the current tours, none of them really end near the Dolomites. You might take a look at what's available to see what else might work for you?

I think the closest you could get on a RS tour would be the Village Italy, which ends in Modena. Then 4 1/2 - 5 hr train trip with a couple of changes.

Or do your hiking before the Village Italy tour which starts in Padua.

Are you intending that the RS tour is in Italy? Other options could be ones where you fly afterwards over to Verona and then take the train or car up to Ortesei. For instance, Paris to Verona is a direct 1.5 hour flight.
