My wife and I will be passing through Parma this summer and thought it would be fun to take a food tour of Parma or someplace close in Emilia-Romagna. Any suggestions?
hi FICO next to Bologna would let you experience Italian food at 360' perspective: this is the recently opened food Court by Eatitaly where besides eating food processing is well explored
I did a food tour with Laura last summer that was very good. It was a private tour. We watched the making of Parmesan, visited a winery (and tasted), a prosciutto Factory and finally a small producer of balsamic. Laura drove all over the area and we also stopped for lunch. I learned so much about the making of the cheese and balsamic - and spent way too much money on buying a number of their products. But, I am very glad I spent the money.
If you google ‘food tour Parma Laura’, her website will come up.
A number of years ago we took two tours with this company. One was to visit a Parma cheese producer (wonderful cheese that we took home with us), lunch and then to the Balsamic Museum. The second was a food tour of Bologna. Both were WONDERFUL and would highly recommend. Here is the link to Martina's web site:https://golosaitalia.blogspot.com
We did the same food tour with Laura. Great! Highly recommend.
