Long term stays in Abruzzo

Hi Don: 6 months stay in Italy, so first we should ask if you know that the EU limit is 90 days for a US citizen who has not qualified for and obtained a student or other special visa?

Thanks for that useful piece of information. Actually, we are planning on sharing an apartment with other family members. My wife and I would be there for perhaps as long as 3 months, then my brother and his wife would use the apartment/house after we depart.
