Hi all. In Italy now, was planning to fly out of Milan, but because of illness looks like we will be flying out of FCO instead on United. What are logistics after taking Leonardo Express. Does it drop you at checkin area for United?
Thanks a bunch.
The Fiumicino airport station is across the roadway from the terminals. You will be walking on an aerial walking bridge over the roadway into T3, where the check in hall is. It’s a 5-10 min walk.
If your accommodations are not walking distance from the Roma Termini station you might consider using a taxi directly from the city center. The taxi cost is 50€ flat fare, while the train is 14€ per person. If you need a taxi to get to the station you will spend just as much as taking tha taxi all the way.
The United check in is at T3. The check in Hall is very large so you need to check the display to see the check in desk numbers where your specific flight has the check in. There are over one hundred check in positions desks at FCO.
Thank you so much Roberto; very helpful!
See my edited response above.
From the train station to the T3 you walk. Follow directions to T3. Allow for about 10 min walk at most.
