We have stayed at Logis brand hotels several times in France. They are locally owned. Are there any similar hotels in Italy? Thanks!

Logis has an Italian section, too. You can get there from the main Logis website: http://www.logishotels.com/fr.html Fewer hotels, though. Much fewer. I have not found a comparable association of family-run hotels in Italy.

Thanks, Doug! We know there are Logis hotels in Italy but not many as you said. I also know there are hotels in the RS books but we would like a smaller chain style hotels. When we travel, we rarely have a schedule, we travel where the weather is best. It has worked fairly well in the past and having the Logis book has helped. Thanks for your message. I will welcome other suggestions for hotels other than in the RS books which we already have packed.
