I will be flying into Nice in January, picking up a rental car and driving onto Milan. I have looked in Rick's guide for a hotel or B&B to stay in Milan, but haven't found anyplace that states there is parking available. We will have quite a bit of luggage (staying for 4 months), so want to have a safe place to park the car for a couple of nights stay. I would appreciate any wisdom from those who have stayed in Milan, and particularly know that I may park a car in a secure place. Thanks!

If you are staying for an extended period of time like that I would suggest checking out www.vrbo.com and look for a place to rent for 4 months.

Hi - Thanks for the advice, but I guess I wasn't clear about the information I am seeking! I will be staying in Italy for about 4 months (assuming my visa comes through next week). I already have rented a place for that time. I am looking for a two night stay in a B&B or hotel in Milan for a stop during our journey to our final destination. People always have such great wisdom, I was hoping that someone would have a recommendation for me for just 2 nights!! Still looking for that help - especially regarding parking a rental car. Thanks

You might have a look at www.hotellondonmilano.com/eng/home.htm as they advertise "Garage parking 150M away". They're listed in the Italy Guidebook, and I found the location quite convenient.
Send them a quick E-mail to clarify the parking details and costs.
