We will be visiting Matera in October and are looking for an accessible hotel or b&b in Matera. Any recommendations welcome.

By “accessible” do you mean that it has an elevator? You are more likely to find them in hotels than in BnBs.

Yes, I’m thinking elevator or ground floor. Most of the most scenic places have many stairs, often without railings. I’m hoping someone knows of a specif hotel they they can recommend that’s not too far from the scenic sassis.

On Booking.com, you can search by a number of parameters, including accessibility.

That is a good area. I was just looking at a map of Matera to refresh my memory, and that piazza was what I was going to suggest.
