We will be driving from Bari to Maratea in mid April before going on to Sorrento. We would like to stay in Maratea for 2 nights, including one full day here. Does anyone have mid range lodging recommendations and restaurant recommendations. We also thought about stopping in Castelmezzano en route to Maratea. I do not see much information about these places in the RS guide book that I have.

There are lots of sources for travel info other than RS.
I've been to Maratea a few times. Before settling on a hotel, you need to decide if you want to stay IN the town (on a hill) or along the coast. The coastline is long and there are several different neighborhoods along those miles. For example: Aquafredda.
In the town, LOCANDA DELLE MONACHiE is good but might be too expensive.
Along the coast there are many options; maybe look at the MURMANN.
I love. VILLA CHETA but it's not inexpensive.

We stayed at Hotel Gabbiano in September 2022, for one night between Sicily and Rome. Setting was unbelievable. We dined there and had the included breakfast. Price was very reasonable. The roadway heading towards Rome was spectacular!

It appears the 3 suggested places are not open in early April. I had looked at Locarno dells Monachie earlier. We need 2 rooms April 10 and 11, the weekend after Easter. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
