Lodging/parking in Bellagio

Hi. Excited to find this forum and the knowledgable travelers here. We are planning to stay a couple of nights at Lake Como just after arriving in Malpensa. We booked the Bellagio Hotel, which looks great. They have warned me their guaranteed parking spots may not accommodate large cars. We have an "Audi Q5 or similar premium SUV". I don't want to be hunting in little historic center of town for parking spots if they can't fit my car. Any advice? has anyone parked there?

We can easily change hotels or for that matter change cities. I would like our first night after travel to be restful and not a challenge.

Thanks in advance.

Drive up to the top of the town. There are some parking spaces on the south side of the historic church. Parking is a huge problem. We always rent cars in Europe except for when we stay in Bellagio. We use ferries to get around. Can’t you pick up your car after Bellagio visit?
We use a driver to get to Bellagio from MXP.
There is train service to Varenna then a short ferry ride over to Bellagio.

We stayed at Hotel Belvedere with a car. They had an outdoor lot (fenced) near the hotel that was basically an open space, so no specifically sized parking spaces as such. They are at the top of the hill overlooking the east leg of the lake. I would happily stay there again regardless of the car situation.

I have never parked in Bellagio, and I don't know what hotel you have booked. But if they have warned you about the size of their parking lots and you've rented such a big car, you probably need to rethink your plan. Do you really need a car, and do you really need a car that big?

Thanks to all for your advice. It doesn't sound like a car is an easy item in Bellagio. That being said, when I inquired again to the hotel, they assured me they also have an uncovered lot which would accommodate our car. I'll let you all know!! 🤞
Thanks again.

It isn't, it's an expensive and cumbersome headache. In my opinion the best way to see Bellagio is to arrive by ferry and get around on foot.

Will you need a car for the next leg of your journey? Otherwise I really wonder why you are paying the rental cost only to leave the car parked at the hotel for 2 days.

Thank you all. Unfortunately (or fortunately) Bellagio is the first stop after Malpensa for a road trip through the Dolomites. I perhaps could have picked a more "auto friendly" spot for the first night, but we are now excited about staying there so I think I will deal with it!
Time will tell!!
