lodging in Venice

We stayed at Locanda al Leon in Venice. They are doing some renovations, but our dbl room was nicely furnished and very clean. They delivered our breakfast to our room the next morning.

I stayed at Pensione Guerrato, i just got back a few days ago. I really enjoyed my stay. I didnt mind sharing a bathroom, they have some rooms with them. The breakfast wasnt bad, and they have some great pastry in the mornings. The staff is friendly warm, and willing to answer questions about seafood in the market when you cant get the market vendors to answer! :)

Thanks for the replies. We ended up at Pensione Guerrato and absolutely loved it. Venice is a wonderful city.
