Lodging in Val Gardena

Hi Jo, We liked our stay at the Garni Ariston in St. Christina, Val Gardena. It's right up the street from the small TI and bus stop. Nice place and within your budget. http://www.garniariston.com Just a note: The 3 towns/villages that make up the Val Gardena are just a few minutes drive/bus ride from one to the next, so any one is pretty convenient to the others. Ortisei is the largest, meaning most hotels, restaurants, etc. plus a small pedestrian only zone in the "old town". Country House does look very nice. I have to find out if we can reach it by bus and how far from the train station etc.

Thanks Paul I did contact Garni Ariston, it sounds like we need to stay 3 nights in which case we won't spend the night in Bolzano.
