Would appreciate any suggestions for either apartments or hotels in Sorrento with a nice view. Four seniors (two couples) so open to either a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment or two hotel rooms. Thanks!

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Aminta during Spring Break one year and it was lovely. They are just outside of town on a hill overlooking the Bay of Naples. We had 2 rooms that both had amazing views of the water and Mt. Vesuvius in the distance. There was a nice walkable trail just across the street from the hotel that led right into town too. The hotel also offers free shuttles into town regularly throughout the day and into the evening (not too late, I think the last one was around 10pm). The shuttles were handy for us too as they picked us up very near to the train station when we arrived. All in all, I'd say this hotel was an excellent find and I am happy with our stay here. In July, my husband and I stayed at the Hotel Minerva. We loved it. The view from our room was absolutely amazing and the hotel was quiet. The rooftop pool and deck had an even more amazing view. It's a leisurely walk into town and I preferred staying a bit outside of town for the quiet and relaxation. We had a car, and parking was easy at the hotel. https://www.minervasorrento.com/

Another vote for Minerva although it has been some years. Rick had been there the week before on his scouting trips, owner sent us to the restaurants she had taken Rick too. Great view from our room, think maybe (?) they all face the Med.
