On our next trip to Italy (2011) we will be driving from the Cinque Terre to an Agriturismo in Pienza. We want to stop off for one night in San Gimignano; any suggestions for a simple, clean place to stay? Thanks!

Hi Pat, I'd like to add a suggestion. We stayed at a lovely b&b right outside of San Gimingnano. The name of the place is IlVicario and is rated highly on Trip Advisor. You can get additional info there about Il Vicario. Fulvio and Katia are wonderful hosts. I think you would enjoy it.
