Lodging in Rome

Hello! Traveling with 3 adults and one school age child. Looking for a 2-week rental in Rome (end of March thru early to mid- April) with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths that also has an adequate sitting area to all hang out in after a busy day seeing the sights. Many places we have looked at have a sitting area that appear to really only accommodate 2 adults. Any tips? Thanks so much.

We stayed at one of Incentrum's suites when we were in Rome, and we liked it a lot. Ours was one bedroom, but they have other options. Perhaps they will have something that fits your needs: https://incentrum.it/en/apartments/

Be aware that their apartments are in historic buildings without elevators.

Looked at their site. Looks like the Luxury Apartment has 2 bathrooms and sleeps 6. The listing also mentioned they have lifts in their two locations.

There most definitely wasn't a lift in the building where we stayed on Via del Babuino. Our suite was on the 4th floor, which is the 5th by North American count. The ceilings were very, very high in the apartments, so each floor was actually like 1 1/2 floors. It was a long climb up at the end of a long and footsore day. Worth it, and we'd still recommend the place, but it's important to be aware of it, as it could be a deal breaker for some people.

I see that the other building, on Via Vittoria, does have a lift though. :)

Highly recommend www.casavisconti.it. Giovanni is wonderful, excellent location. We walked everywhere…EVERYWHERE. Apartment is very comfortable and has an elevator. Enjoy!

We stayed in this apartment earlier this year around the same time you will be there next year. It was amazing. Perfect location.
The only drawback may be that the second bath is a tub only, but at least there was the ability to have two sinks, toilets, etc. and the tub had a hand held sprayer. We just shared the shower in the main bath and it was no problem for five adults since we had the second "half bath." Oh, and the listing says "full bed," but I think it's more like queen size. Plenty of room to spread out.
