I am looking for any suggestions on hotels in Positano and Riomaggiore in September 2018. There will be just two of us, would like a nice view and a central location. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Look at booking.com as their reviews are only from guests who have stayed at the hotels.

A few suggestions.....
- Positano - have a look at http://www.savoiapositano.it/en/index.php . I found the rooms quite comfortable and it was in a good location.
- Riomaggiore - there are no actual "hotels" in Riomaggiore, but rather a collection of small private rooms. If you want more conventional hotels, I'd suggest staying instead in Monterosso. It's a much larger town so has a greater number of not only accommodations but also restaurants and other tourist amenities, and the best beaches of the five towns. If you're set on staying in Riomaggiore, check the RS Italy 2018 guidebook.

We stayed in Hotel California in Positano and enjoyed the terrace views of the ocean and the short walk up the street to the bus stop.
It's right across the street from Le Sirenuese.
