Lodging in/near Radda in Chianti

Hello -
My wife and I will be in Italy from mid Aug - early Sept. We would like to spend the last few days of our trip in the Chianti region, currently leaning towards the Radda in Chianti area. Any suggestions for lodging in that area? Thanks.

We visited Radda in Chianti as a day trip drive from Florence last fall—had a delicious lunch at Bar Dante (run by husband Fabrizio and British-born wife Carolyn), perused wine and aceto balsamico tradizionale di Modena at their enoteca, and explored other interesting shops before heading out to Castello di Albola vineyard for an informative tour and wine tasting in a gorgeous setting. I hope you enjoy your time in Radda!

Check out Palazzo Leopoldo. We will be staying there for the 4th time this year. The hotel entrance is on a restricted lane that runs through the village, but you will be allowed access to be able to drive right up to the front door to drop off passengers and luggage.
The hotel is very old but is beautiful inside with loads of character, a great breakfast, and excellent service, and it's very reasonably priced. We have always found convenient free parking either on the street out in front of the hotel (on SR429), or a short walk away along the town wall just behind the village. Don't miss Pizza Pie, near the hotel on the main road (SR429) through town. And Radda in Chianti makes an excellent base for touring the area.
