Family of 4 adults looking for a small family type hotel with half board for Dec 24th and 25th. We have a car and are flexible on location. We will be in Verona prior and Milan after Christmas--looking for any personal recommendations.

This is not in the lakes region but not far away, and is the only half-pension hotel I have experience with at Christmas, but we had an amazing holiday at Hotel Albion just outside of Ortisei, about a 2 hour drive from Verona and just under 4 hours to get to Milano.

Thank you for the recommendation--I have sent a request for lodging to the hotel and will continue looking in any areas of Northern Italy--the winter pics look great and we are looking in the Dolomites/Trento region also-we shall see where this adventure takes us--thanks again for the recommendation
