I have been trying to book Hotel Metropole in Bellagio for four nights in April, but their website does not accept reservations yet. I emailed them last summer and they said to try in October. I have sent them several emails since and have tried calling them with no response. This hotel is my first choice; is anyone having this trouble? Can you recommend other hotels in the area?

We have stayed at Hotel Bellagio a couple of times. It's a cute small well-run hotel. We would stay there again when we visit Bellagio in the future. Caveat - you have to carry your luggage up about 50 steps, but they will carry them up for you if you ask.

I've stayed at both Hotel du Lac and at Hotel Belvedere. They have different advantages, and I'd stayed again at either.
