Lodging for 5 adults in Rome, Vernazza, and Siena

I have close relatives in Bari (both parents from that region), and have toured Italy several times. The last time was in 2017 with my wife when we used the Rick Steves resources extensively for lodging and local activities in Rome, Cinque Terre, and Tuscany. Next June, we are planning on taking our 3 oldest grandchildren (14, 16, and 18) on a 2 week tour including Rome, Bari (staying with relatives), Sicily (Cefalu), Cinque Terre (Vernazza), and Tuscany (Siena). Lodging will require 2 rooms, so this is more complicated. I booked a seaside hotel in Cefalu, but would appreciate any suggestions for: 1) Pantheon area of Rome, 2) Vernazza, and 3) Siena. Grazie mille!

For Vernazza, you're better off booking lodging in Monterosso and visiting Vernazza by train or ferry, in my opinion. There are no hotels in Vernazza and it is the most crowded of the five towns, especially mid-day. I also think the teens will appreciate that there's somewhat more to do in Monterosso. Using Booking.com with its maps and filters will give you the best idea of the possibilities.

Great suggestion, Mike, and that's exactly what I was considering originally. In 2017, my wife and I stayed in Vernazza, but also enjoyed the beach in Monterosso. She prefers the charm of Vernazza, so that is why I was considering that for lodging. Either way, a beach day is certainly in the plan. Reading the Rick Steves book on the area, I may suggest a beach trip to Levanto. Seems more laid back then Monterosso. Thanks again.

Thanks, Marco. Looked up the Casacenti B&B and booked it for 3 nights! Asked facility about suggestions to park the car we will have for travel in Tuscany.
