Hi all, Looking for expert guidance. We plan to do a stop of 3-4 hours in Pisa on our journey from Lucca to Cinque Terre. We hoped to drop our bags (carry-on backpacks) at lockers in the train station then pick them up when we head to CT after our short Pisa visit. We hope to walk over to the Tower and Baptistry, then catch a simple lunch before heading back to the trai station. Does anyone have experience with the lockers at Pisa and thoughts on our plans. As always, thanks in advance for any guidance you can offer, we appreciate it!!
It' been awhile, but I don't recall any lockers there but there is a counter to leave your gear in a secure paid area.
There are a number of private luggage locker facilities within a block or two from Pisa Centrale. “ Stow Your Bags,” “Bounce” and “Radical Storage” are just three of them. With multiple bags, “Stow Your Bags” looks like a good deal.
I went to the staffed luggage storage counter at Pisa Centrale, located at the far end of the tracks if I recall correctly. Just follow the signs.
We did the same thing in May. Pisa Centrale have counter to store your bag, price is per item regardless size, and hours, so it adds up. I think it's 5e each.
