Location of ATVO fly bus at Marco Polo & Mestre

Hello,

I am trying to clarify the directions on catching the ATVO fly bus from the Marco Polo airport to Mestre train station.

On one of the links, they say the following:
"Exit the arrivals hall at door D and look for the ATVO bus stops on your left"
Is this pretty much the most direct option from arrivals? Is this direction complete or needs further details?

Does the ATVO shuttle drop you off directly outside the Mestre train station? One of the sites says:

"Buses for the airport leave from the same place where they arrive in Mestre: about 50 meters to the left of the station entrance."

Is this accurate? Is this (left) when facing the station, or facing away from it?

The ATVO Flybus (No 35) drops you at the ATVO stop which is about 200 meters from the main station entrance, straight down the street. It will be obvious as the raised railroad tracks will be on your left with the overhead catenary lines that power the trains. Google street view photo.

ATVO bus stops are just outside the terminal doors. You cannot miss them, the stands are clearly marked ATVO. Unable to help with the stops in Mestre.,

I took the ATVO bus from VCE to Mestre last May. There were a lot of helpers out there directing people (some selling tickets) but I would have found the stop anyway with the signs - so it's pretty simple, but if not, ask someone. (There's also an ACTV bus to Mestre that is NOT an express.) At Mestre the bus dropped us a little ways from the entrance to the train station - our bus was late and I just missed the train I was hoping to catch to Treiste; I ran from the bus stop but the train was already pulling away, much too far away to make it across the tracks etc. (I knew it would be really close, bought the train ticket from my phone while I was on the bus, decided to risk it anyway; if the "express" bus hadn't in fact stopped en route to drop someone else off before we got to Mestre, I would probably have made it.)
