Has anyone stayed at Locanda San Pancrazio in the Trastevere neighborhood. Thoughts, opinions? Is it walking distance to major areas? We're 2 adults, second trip to Rome, walking long distances is not a problem but we don't want to be in a boring area. Any info appreciated. Thanks!
Don't think you'll be bored because as Ron points out a lovely and vibrant neighborhood of Rome. I stay no where else when visiting.

Trastevere is a fairly big neighborhood and that particular part of it does indeed look boring to me, using Google Maps Streetview. That hotel is also up a fairly long and steep hill. If you want exciting in Trastevere, try to stay somewhere along or near Via della Lungaretta, esp. closer to Santa Maria in Trastevere. I suggest using Google to see what's in the area around any place you're considering staying. Happy travels.
