Hi Jean, what are you wanting to see? I just left Stresa this morning - my 4th stay there. I’ve always just depended on the train from Milano Centrale or taking the Alibus directly from Malpensa upon arrival. Once in Stresa, the ferries run every place I have wanted to go.
There are taxis at Stresa, also.

Your hotel may help you book a taxi.
I only took a taxi once from Lake Orta back to Stresa.
I’d taken the train to Lake Orta but didn’t like the connection station which was in the middle of nowhere!
There are also public buses in the area, if you’re interested.
