Hi, Forum Friends.
My partner and I are planning a wedding in Sicily and were interested in seeing if anyone here might know of a well-respected Sicilian who has experience planning weddings or activities in the Taormina or Presa area?
I was unsure whether this forum would be appropriate for the ask but we were so grateful for our trip-planning the last time we went to Italy and the suggestions most people made on the forum with meeting people and seeing places were 100% absolutely spot on.
One thought we had was that having a local tour guide from the town may be more helpful than a more traditional wedding planner because of the activities we know we want in terms of the day and also the commercialized feel of the online wedding planner "market." It seems a bit gross.
So:
1. feel free to comment/dispel my thought about local assistance; and
2. any introductions would be warmly welcomed.
