Local Italian trains

What web site can I get a schedule for local train travel in Milan. I am catching a train from my Hotel, station Milano Villapizzone, to Milano Central to catch my high speed train to Venice and don't know how much time to allow for the local train to Central.
I keep getting a fault message on all the train schedule sites?
Thank you for your help!

Ask the hotel. When I checked the trenitalia web site (you also can do that yourself) it showed a train every 15 mins taking 25 mins.

Michael,

From that location and hauling luggage, I'd probably just use a Taxi. Is there a reason you're staying so far outside the city centre?

Train schedules for local Trenitalia trains are usually available only for the upcoming seven days. Figure out what day of the week you'll be going and check that one.

Michael, local trains have been available up to the next timetable change for 2 years now!

In 2017 that means you can purchase locals' tickets up to 120 days in advance, but not after June 11 and December 11.

(déjà vu anyone?)

As those trains are part of the ATM local network (even if they are not managed by ATM you could use the single ride ticket once) you can see schedules on both google maps and ATM's "Giromilano" journey planner: http://giromilano.atm.it/#/home/
Start typing "MILANO VILLAPIZZONE, Milano" in the from field and pick it up under "Stazioni ferroviarie" from the drop down menu.

mdavishomesinc, If you are using the official trenitalia.com/tcom-en enter

  • MILANO VILLAPIZZONE and MILANO CENTRALE, not Milan Central
  • an hour of departure.

You won't be allowed to purchase tickets of another company, hover the mouse over the barred cart, but you'll see the actual schedules.

Thank you all very much, I think the problem was I was checking too far in advance. I assume the schedules stay pretty much the same.
