Looking for a local tour guide in Rome prior to the start of our Rick Steves tour. Suggestions anyone?
Many times recommended here, Sonia Tavoletta. Search above to see specifics about her. Sonia Tavoletta [email protected]
Another excellent Rome guide you could try is https://francescacaruso.com/ .
If Francesca is busy, we used one of her recommended guides--Wally. She was fantastic and would use her again. You'll find her contact info on Francesca's page: https://francescacaruso.com/contact/colleagues/
Just returned from Rome. We had booked a semi private tour with Carpe Diem Tours for a Monday. They cancelled two days prior (Saturday afternoon). By happenstance we found A&R Tours Italy. Received an immediate response and within an hour had a private tour booked for the Colosseum, Roman Forum, & Palatine Hill.
Wow, how lucky we were to have found A&R Tours Italy. Worth every penny and more. Renaldo brought Ancient Rome to life!
I just used Rome Day Tours with Rich Brunn, an American and certified guide in Rome. He was great: romedaytours.com
