I noticed on some stops on the RS Italy Village Tours you get cheese demostrations, Olive Oil tasting and visting the farm, pasta making too. We are going to be traveling on our own but would love to do stuff like that if we can in places. We will be staying around Siena/Tuscany for 3 Days. Any advice on places we learn and watch Cheese being made, Olive Oil and also some pasta? I could google it but you never know if you get tourist trap tours first on the results. Want to see if any people have done stuff like this on their own in the area and what are good places to go. I do have a favorite wine from Tuscany made outside Siena that I'm going to try to setup a visit to their winery. So looking for stuff on local Cheese, Olives and Pasta that we can do too. I apoligize if any of this is covered in the RS guidebook. I'm waiting for the Oct Release of the 2013 Italy Book to purchase it. Figured I would get a jump start on some things.
