Livorno cruise port to Florence

My first stop on a cruise will be in Livorno. My wife and I are planning to take the train to Florence. I would rather take a shuttle but they are too expensive unless you are with a group. Does anyone know of any alternatives?

There is at least 1 train every hour to Florence, takes about 1 hour 20 minutes, and costs 9.60 EUR. You just need to get from the ship to Livorni Centrale in the center of town.
