Hi Folks!
Will be spending 4 nights in Rome in October (coupled with Sicily, which I posted in a different thread on this wonderful forum). We are music enthusiasts, and even though I have been to Rome 8 or 9 other times previously, I am looking to see if anybody has any knowledge of venues? This will be my Girlfriends first visit to Italy/Rome, and I know where i want to spend the days - just looking for a special musical night out if possible.

What type of music? When I was in Trastevere the bars had local musicians. Much like being at home and going to your neighborhood place, but with an Italian atmosphere and flair! More fun, IMO.

Charlotte, that's exactly what we are looking for - local musicians. We live inSt Pete, FL, where there is live music everywhere, on any given night - makes for great enviance.
