My husband, daughter and I are travelling to Rome next month. My husband has difficulty with stairs and my daughter really wants to see the underground area of the Colosseum if it is possible to do that without abandoning her dad for a long period of time. I understand there is an elevator at the Colosseum but it doesn't go to the underground. If we purchase tickets which include the underground and the arena level can my husband skip the underground and meet us on the arena level? If so about how long would he be waiting for us? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
