We want to take the underground colosseum tour but I am concerned because we both have some mobility issues. I walk slower than most people amd need a railing to do stairs. My husband has knee issues. I would expect there are uneven walkways as well. If we use canes, do you think that we would be able to partake in this tour?
There are a lot of stairs, some steep, but the tour guide does wait for people. I can't remember if they all had rails, though. I don't recall uneven walkways.
I seem to recall an elevator...at least to the lower section. Upper section may be tricky.
These two sites will give you info on the Colosseum and getting around Rome.
