Limited bus service leaving Ravello on Sundays

Hello all,

On my 10 night trip to Italy next month. I have reserved a tour of Pompeii on Saturday September 28. We were planning on taking the ferry from Naples on Sunday the 29th to Amalfi then taking the bus to Ravello. Looking at the bus schedule there seems to be several buses going to Ravello but not very many coming back, making it difficult to time an arrival back in Amalfi to catch the ferry back to Naples. I see several buses leaving from Scala. Does anyone know if that is an easy walk from Ravello? From reading these posts it seems the buses are packed and it's nor guaranteed that you will get a ride on the bus that you want or are Sundays different? On Google maps there looks like there are bus stops along the road between Ravello and Scala. Will they stop and pick you up? Also it looks like the bus goes through Ravello, but it just doesn't stop on Sundays except at certain times?
Another option I could do is change my Pompeii tour to Sunday and do Amalfi on Saturday. There are a few more times scheduled that day coming down from Ravello, but no where near as many as there are going up to Ravello. Do that many people just walk back down? or walk to Scala to catch the bus?

My experience with Ravello has always been during the week, not the weekend. What we have done in the past is take the mini-bus up, and then walk the trail back down to Amalfi. When we did it pre-Covid, the trail was kind of rough, and I think it took over an hour to go down. Revello is probably 200m to 300m above Amalfi. If you can flip the Pompei trip to Sunday, I think you'd fell more comfortable.
