Any recommendations about where to stay between Genoa and Nice, France? We like staying at B&B's, organic farms, and ecovillages. We are traveling with our 15 year old son and like to hike, swim and play outdoors. We have plans to stay in Torri, Monterosso de Mare & Lucca.

When I was 16 I stayed with my grandparents in Rapallo (Near Portofino) for a few days. We did stay in a hotel and I had nothing to do with the planning so I couldn't say if there were any B&Bs to stay at, but the hotel was on the coast and walking down the stairs from the balcony you could swim in the sea, which was one of my favorite memories of the trip.

We stayed in Rapallo last 2 yrs ago and it was very nice. Althlough, it is not between Genoa and Nice.

You might have a look at the town of Varigotti, which is somewhat between Genoa and Nice.
