Liguria crowded with Italian visitors

There are traffic jams and full parking lots in Liguria as Italians seek relief from the Covid-19 restrictions on a weekend with sun and spring-like tempertures. Presumably many are utilizing 2nd homes since school is out and work restricted. Many also seem to have little regard for the 1 meter distnce advice. In Italian, but with telling photos:

That's really interesting! I got a FB message from one of the Ligurian travel sites I follow, and yesterday they sent a message saying "Everything is normal, we're open for business, no virus here"

since school is out

My friend is a teacher in Abruzzo, east of Rome. There are 3 cases of the virus in her immediate town. And while they are not "going" physically to school, her school - for which she has already been an ambassador for incorporating electronic tools - is very much "in session."

They are teaching remotely, with video tutorials prepared by the teachers, material for the students to read and multi-media quizzes. The older students "attend" classes the usual school hours. With the younger children, it is more difficult, but the teachers are still preparing lessons and holding video classes.
