Light show at the Forum of Augustus and the Forum of Ceasar

Just discovered this light show. We are in Rome for four days with our 15 year old grandson. Having problems researching this site. Is it possible to do both shows in one night? Or if we had to choose which one would be best? Can't seems to find th information I need to make this decision. Also having problems buying tickets. Can any one help with buying the tickets? Thanks so much!

Yes, you can do both in one night. Both are fabulous! One sits in bleachers with headphones for the Foro di Augusto show and you wander through The Foro di Caesar also with headphones and various parts of it are illuminated and explained.

The shows are a bit late, though, after dark, which means a 9pm start is about as early as you can get. If you do both, the show start times must be 80 minutes apart. I was able to go to the site here and get to a point of purchase although you have to wait for the rather sluggish calendars to open. I was able to select a random date in July with a 21:00 start for Augusto and a 22:20 start for Caesar’s. At what point did you have trouble?

Do Augusto first, as suggested, but be prepared for a very late night.
