Light Show at Forum of Augustus

The link below was in Rick's European Travel News. Has anyone been to this show? I know it just opened this week so it would have to be someone currently in Rome checking on this forum.

My wife and I will be in Rome for 4 days in two weeks and we are adding this to our itinerary.

It's awfully pricey with tickets at 16 euro for a 40-minute show. If you attend please let us know if it was worth it.

We will be in Italy for 4 weeks and will not be back until 6 weeks from now. If I get a chance to log onto these forums while over there I may get out a review.

Sam, you are correct 16 euro each for a 40 minute light show is a bit expensive. My wife and I talked it over and decided not to purchase tickets in advance (70 of the 200 tickets are supposed to be available at the box office). If we were to buy in advance the best night to schedule would be our last night in Rome. Do we want to just stroll and enjoy Rome, use the money to allow for a splurge dinner, or go to the show? Now, that will not be our last night in Italy, we still would have another 3 weeks to go.

So for now this show has gone to the category of "possibilities" on our itinerary.
