I'm going to be in the Dolomites for a week at the end of June and hiking almost every day. Does anyone know if I can can buy an unlimited pass to ride the lifts/gondolas in the area? There's one for Val Gardena only but is there one that includes the lifts on the Seiseralm/Alpe di Siusi as well?

Hi Marcus, If you didn't see these pages yet, they may be of help: www.val-gardena.com/en/valgardena-card/page45.html www.valgardena.it/en/val-gardena-card/page45.html www.val-gardena.com/download/gardena/pdf/Sommer2011/Lifts_Summer2011.pdf 1 of these go from Val Gardena (Ortisei) into the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi: From Ortisei the Mont Seuc cable car (Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm) goes into the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi and then you can take the Sole/Sonne chair lift further into the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi. On the page: www.valgardena.it/en/lifts/page65.html is an interactive map at the bottom. I got a bit confused at first, until I realized the map view was looking at Ortisei from the west to east and that the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi is to the left. If you click on the red "cable car" going from Ortisei up and to the left, it's called the "Umlaufbahn St. Ulrich". That's the Mont Seuc/Seiser Alm cable car to the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi. At the top "yellow line" is the "Sessellift Sole/Sonne" that goes further into the Seiser Alm. From the Mont Seuc station at the top you're already "in" the Seiser Alm. Here's a direct link to this: www.alpedisiusi-seiseralm.com/index.html Hope this helps. Paul
Hi again, These may be of more help for the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi: www.alpedisiusi.info/en/interactive/holiday-packages/21-offers-planning-a-holiday-without-car-why-not.html www.alpedisiusi.net/media/e01bc25a-357f-46a1-b4db-4ab42b7f1f3c/seiseralmbahn-winter-2010-11.pdf Paul
