Lido di Jesolo

Can anyone give me info on the Lido? That's the only place that was available to exchange our Time Share..In Rick's book he described it as conjested and dirty..so I'm a little concerned about our two week vacation..

I've only done a day trip -- and we rented bikes and had a grand time getting off the beaten path -- watched a soccer match, had a pizza, talked to locals while they did laundry. Very quaint once you leave the resorts.
