Hi all,
Just wondering, has anyone traveled in Italy on Liberation Day (25th of April)? Are the trains still going and will it be difficult to find accommodation in CT if I arrive on that particular day?

I was in Italy last April. I called a few days before April 25 for my favorite hotel in the CT and almost didn't get in (there had been a cancellation). Between April 25 and the weekend of May 1 schools are out and lots of people are out and about--mostly where you want to be. I suggest that you make reservations ASAP for lodging. Trains were crowded all week, so you may want reservations there, too.
