Levanto to Milan Booking

Hi, I plan on travelling from Riomaggiore to Levanto and then from Levanto to Milan (Milano Centrale) on June 13 to catch a night train to Barcelona @ 7:40pm. I see on raileurope.com that there are many trains from Levanto to Milan that day, but that I cannot book at passholder reservation for them. I tried to look up the train on the trenitalia site, but nothing comes up when I put in any combination of Levanto to Milan on that date. What am I doing wrong? Do you think it will be difficult to get on the Levanto-Milan train that day without purchasing a reservation in advance? Thank you s o much.

I check the La Spezia to Milan C,LE. 6/13, 12:40, 14:40 take 3 hours and 10 minutes, IC no train change. 2nd class 23.5E. Yes, you have to go south from Riomaggiore to La Spezia, and then north to Milan, but it only take 6 to 8 minutes and say 1.2E. The reason that some of the website do not show you all the possible routes is that they want to sell you tickets. Because they can not sell you the R train ticket, so they don't show it. Oh, there is better way, a lot of the IC will shop Monterosso. It will take 2 hours 55 minutes. The same trains from La Spezia. 23.E. .5E cheaper.
Also they should have some R train schedule to Milan. I have not been able to find it.

Wait, I think you should check the possibility of changing train in Genvoa, PP. to Barcelona. That route is shorter, but night train? I am not sure.

Yes, night train is better, it will take you 15 to 20 hours and five to seven changes. If you go the other way.
