has anyone been to the town of lerice in italy? How'd you like it?

On my Rick Steves Village Italy tour, we stopped there for a couple hours for lunch. We then took the boat to Portovenere, stopped there for a couple of hours and then continued with the boat down the Cinque Terre. Lerici seemed like it would be a nice town away from the main tourist crowds that are on the Cinque Terre.

I was also there earlier this year and thought those 2 towns definitely deserve a repeat visit. I even thought it would be great to make one of them a base for the CT if you don't need to stay right in the thick of it.....it is ALL wonderful.
